one of the things i've been doing with my time...
Posted by BurningRiverStudio Mar. 22, 2009 @ 11:00 AM EDTShoot 'em up games have a limited appeal for me; flash games that involve puzzle solving are much more along the lines of what interests me. But what's even better than playing games is making flash based toys like this celtic knot generator. I don't bother submitting stuff like that to the portal because it's not the sort of thing the majority of folks at NG like (and therefore will likely get blammed for my troubles), but there does appear to be a minority here who appreciate that sort of thing. Hence this journal entry to let that minority know about it.

Posted by BurningRiverStudio Apr. 25, 2008 @ 10:02 AM EDTI'll be the first to admit that most of my own socializing takes place via the net or offline with folks i've met online, but there's an aspect to most "social networking" sites that i find quite strange (if not a wee bit creepy). Somebody must've read my mind and handed this guy a transcript:

Well, actually, it turns out that a number of people think this.
4 comments | Log in to comment! | Share this!In case anyone is wondering what i'm doing lately, it mostly involves writhing in pain. Hopefully i'll see the chiropracter tomorrow. When i'm not preoccupied with the aching and numbness i'm making lil' doodles like this:

Given that i already have a blog, two websites, and a journal on another portal site on the net it's really not like i've been dying to have a personal sounding board. But since this is here...
Some of my time is spent working on flash, but i've also been busy with sundry other projects; embroidery and being webmaster for a non-profit, educational organization have been taking most of the time lately. Earlier this summer someone i know managed to break both wrists in a fall, so next month when the casts come off and she's had some time to get used to the braces i'll be teaching her how to tumble so that hopefully the next time she trips over something she won't break any bones in the process.
