one of the things i've been doing with my time...

Shoot 'em up games have a limited appeal for me; flash games that involve puzzle solving are much more along the lines of what interests me. But what's even better than playing games is making flash based toys like this celtic knot generator. I don't bother submitting stuff like that to the portal because it's not the sort of thing the majority of folks at NG like (and therefore will likely get blammed for my troubles), but there does appear to be a minority here who appreciate that sort of thing. Hence this journal entry to let that minority know about it.

It doesn't matter if the majority isn't looking for such a thing (imo)... I mean, I'm submitting FL Tutorials, which aren't games, nor movies, but I passed with a score of 3.80.

But flash tutorials are slightly different- they demonstrate how to use flash and the knowledge in turn can be used to make flash that interests the author (i.e., tutorials have a wider, more general applicability and thus have a potentially larger audience).
